literally the WORST mcdonald’s you could go to. go to literally any other one besides this one. you’ll wait 45 minutes for a mobile order and they’ll still get things wrong and the food will be cold.

This morning, around 6:05 a.m., I visited this McDonald’s after getting off a 12-hour work shift. Before stopping there, I had been at the hospital because my mother was having surgery. I was exhausted, and I had a small shawl wrapped around my shoulders because the hospital waiting rooms are always very cold. I had been using it to stay warm while waiting, and I simply left it on when I came into McDonald’s. It wasn’t a large blanket,it was just a small throw/shawl that covered my shoulders. After ordering my food, I sat down at a table to eat. The area where I was sitting had no signs indicating there was a 30-minute seating limit. When an employee named Victoria brought my food to the table, she appeared to have an attitude from the moment she approached me. She didn’t greet me or say anything. As she set my tray down, she accidentally knocked my drink over. Only then did she say, “I’m sorry” and “Hello.” It honestly felt like she had no intention of acknowledging me until the accident happened. After working a 12-hour shift and spending time at the hospital with my mother, I unintentionally fell asleep. I had no idea I had fallen asleep, and I later realized I had probably been asleep for about two and a half hours. I wasn’t trying to sleep there, I was simply exhausted. The hospital had even been trying to call me while I was asleep. I genuinely appreciated being woken up because I needed to get back to the hospital. My issue was never with being awakened, it was the way it was done. Victoria came up to me and loudly said in my ear, “My manager said you have to get up and get out.” There were other customers sitting nearby, and I felt completely embarrassed. A simple tap on the shoulder or speaking to me in a normal tone would have been more than enough. After she walked away, even the customers sitting nearby commented that she didn’t have to wake me up that way and that it was unnecessary. Then Victoria turned toward the other customers and said, “I don’t know what she think this is, but we not having none of that.” I immediately turned around and said, “Excuse me?” Then I asked, “What’s your manager’s name?” Victoria replied, “Jermika.” She also said, “Jermika sent me over here.” I responded by saying that I wanted to speak with Jermika. However, despite my request, Jermika never came over to speak with me. I had never been to this McDonald’s before, so I have no idea what Victoria meant by her comment. It made me feel like she was judging me based on my appearance because I had a shawl around my shoulders and assumed I was homeless. That was hurtful because the shawl was simply there to keep me warm after spending hours in a cold hospital waiting room while my mother was in surgery. Rather than argue or create a scene, I chose to leave and share my experience here instead. I’m very disappointed by how I was treated. No customer deserves to be embarrassed or judged based on their appearance. If there was an issue with me falling asleep, it could have been handled respectfully and privately. I spend a lot of money with McDonald’s, and I expected to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I hope management addresses how customers are approached in situations like this because my experience today was unacceptable.

Fix your broken touchscreen order machines. Every time you go through the ordering process, when you go to view your order it says I'm missing an item and I can't go back and I can't go any further. What the hell could be missing? I'm not using deals or anything, I'm just trying to order some food. But of course there's nobody at the register to place an order so what am I supposed to do?
