I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Dunkin’. Before my order was taken, the employees announced that the location was only serving drinks and donuts and had no food available. That was fine, so I ordered two coffees with almond milk and caramel, two other drinks, and a donut.
Unfortunately, the coffees tasted awful and looked like straight black coffee, and my donut was never given to me.
What made the experience even more concerning was hearing two employees, while taking orders and preparing other customers’ orders, openly talking about people’s food and drinks they wanted to spit in. That type of conversation is completely inappropriate, especially in a place where customers are trusting employees with their food and beverages.
When I went back to address the coffees, the employees were dismissive, sarcastic, and had an attitude as though they didn’t care about being at work. Despite their behavior, I remained respectful and kept my composure. At that point, because of the poor quality of the drinks, the missing item, and most importantly the disturbing comments I had overheard, I requested a refund.
I asked for a receipt, but was told they couldn’t provide one because several customers were after me and they couldn’t it. The employee repeated my order back to me a second time, as though there was no way to look it up in the system, and then told me I “should have grabbed” the receipt as if I were the employee.
After the order was remade, the attitude and smart remarks continued, and honestly, I no longer even wanted the drinks. They could keep them.
This was not just about a bad cup of coffee. It was the combination of poor service, missing items, disrespectful attitudes, and hearing employees discuss potentially tampering with anyone’s food and drinks that made this experience completely unacceptable.
I do not recommend this location. Management needs to seriously address the employees’ professionalism, customer service, and the way they speak about customers and their food.
