My server Kristen was absolutely amazing made sure our drinks were always full and kept checking on us she is a wonderful server! However I didn’t like seeing that the one host was left to do his job almost completely alone due to the other girl being off talking to people and not doing her job at all I believe the girls name was Ashlyn I’m not 100% sure. Anyways the host that was left by himself did an amazing job from what I saw.

I brought my family to Outback Steakhouse for Mother’s Day dinner, expecting a pleasant experience with my loved ones. Instead, we were met with unnecessary inconvenience and extremely poor customer service. In addition to the parking spaces that are permanently designated for To-Go orders with posted signs, the restaurant had also temporarily claimed approximately 8 additional spaces that are normally available to dine-in customers. Temporary signs had been placed in these spots exclusively for to-go parking, and dine-in guests were being instructed to park at a neighboring business once Outback’s lot was full. Under normal circumstances this might still be frustrating, but on a busy Mother’s Day, while it was raining and families were arriving with children, it felt especially inconsiderate. I respectfully asked one of the To Go workers if they would allow us to use 1 of the 9 empty spaces since we were dining in with family. I am dressed up with high heels on. I asked her not to make us walk further in the rain. She shrugged and restated that today that space was for To Go only. She then directed me to park down the hill infront of the Sleep Number store. I complied. I parked and walked back to the restaurant and I asked for a manager. I spoke with Matthew. Matthew was dismissive and rude, showing very little concern for the inconvenience being caused to customers. His only response was “I’m sorry you feel that way.” He insisted that all of the reserved spaces would soon be filled and defended the decision to make dine-in guests park elsewhere. I told him we would see whether that was actually the case by the time we left the restaurant. When my family and I exited after dinner, I was shocked to see another customer was allowed to park in the very spaces we had been told we could not use. Was it because the staff is all white and my family is black? Matthew was standing outside at the time. I pulled over briefly to take a photo documenting the situation and simply pointed toward the spaces and said, “See?” Rather than offering an apology or acknowledging that the restaurant may have handled the situation poorly, Matthew instead came to the parking lot to stand adjacent to my vehicle and told me I needed to leave. I explained that I had every right to document my experience and take photos in the parking lot. He then claimed he was “just standing there to make sure nobody hits your car,” despite the fact that he was standing in the middle of the traffic flow himself, creating even more congestion. What disappointed me most was not just the parking situation itself, but the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and empathy from management. This was an opportunity to simply acknowledge that the earlier decision had inconvenienced customers and that adjustments had clearly been made later. Instead, the interaction became unnecessarily antagonistic. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend that families reconsider visiting this location on major holidays if they are expecting decent service, professionalism, and customer care.

The food was excellent, and the staff was all friendly. The manager, Matthew, noticed a small issue with my order and addressed it immediately. They replaced my steak before I even realized there was a problem. Our server Alison was helpful, friendly, and efficient as well. Everyone in my party loved their food, and I appreciated that all the steaks were cooked to our requested temperature because I’ve been to several different steakhouses where they always overcook it, but at this location, it was perfect. I would definitely come back again.

The servers were on top of it and super nice. Every table was getting over the top levels of customer service. It was wild. It was a little loud, but that's just a side effect of how many people were enjoying themselves! Bruce was our server and he was very pleasant. He even put extra sauce in our to-go boxes and he brought me a drink refill the exact moment of my last sip. They brought little samples of a few deserts through the restaurant on a tray just as we were leaving and that was a cool touch too. I'll be coming to this location in the future!
