  Smells throughout the store. I think something died in their AC vents. For the prices I paid, I should've just gone to Target.

  I've been meaning to write this review for the last two years, but life always get in the way. And as a Autism mom i never get a second to myself. But after I ran into Manny this past week at Giant, and the first thing he asked was how my little girl was doing. The fact that he remembered her made me realize I couldn't keep putting this off. For the past two years, my daughter and I have gone out of our way to shop at this Giant because of Manny. (GOSHEN is a bit closer to us) Going to the grocery store with my daughter isn't always easy because she's on the autism spectrum and non verbal, shopping trips can be really overwhelming. The first time we met Manny, my daughter was having a huge meltdown. Instead of getting annoyed or making us feel uncomfortable, he came right over with so much kindness and patience. He started talking to her and keeping her distracted while I paid for our groceries. It might not have seemed like a big deal to him, but it meant everything to me. He took so much stress off my shoulders in that moment, He mentioned having siblings on the spectrum and how he knows they can be a handful especially when it comes to checking out and they're being candy all around. Ever since then, every time we see him, he always greets us with a smile and is just as kind as he was that first day. Because of Manny, what used to be one of the hardest errands for me has become so much easier. People like Manny are hard to find. He's kind, caring, and always goes out of his way. And not just with us I have noticed he is very familiar with a lot of his customers. His interactions seem very genuine. So I would like to thank the Flower Hill Giant for hiring such a empathetic young man.

  This is the absolutely rudest group of employees I have ever seen in a grocery store.

  This is one of the most uncomfortable shopping experiences I've had. The security constantly follows you around the store, making you feel like you're suspected of stealing when you're simply trying to shop. At self-checkout, the employees hover over you, watch everything you scan, and keep trying to talk to you instead of giving customers space. It feels more like you're under surveillance than shopping in a grocery store. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I JUST WANT TO BUY FOOD!!!
