  On the evening of July 1st 2026, myself and 12 year old daughter did not have the most pleasant or easy experience at the Gaithersburg (RIO) location. When arriving we went to the hostess to put our names on the waitlist and were told 30 minutes, we’ll receive a text. We expected a wait, I got D&B waitlist text no big deal, so we  played first 30 minutes go by no text; so I gave it an extra 15 minutes. After 15 minutes of no text I check with the hostess. I give her my name and show her the waitlist text, and she couldn’t find me. It took an additional 5 minutes to sort things out and seat me and my daughter. We waited another 15 minutes to be greeted by our waitress. I ordered an iced tea, and my daughters food first as i was undecided and she was hungry. It took my waitress to 12 minutes to come back to our table with drinks and for me to place my order. I know the times because the USA World Cup Match was on. When my food came out, the waitress asked if my daughters ever came out, which it did not. Mind you, I ordered hers 12 minutes before mine. After 7 minutes of waiting on my daughter’s food, hers finally came out. We had to ask for utensils, and were never offered additional condiments to go with her fries. I good 25 minutes goes by until I see my waitress again. She never checked on anything else is need, never offered to refill my Iced Tea which is free refills, nor did I ever get it refilled. I got my check and rushed out of there due to the horrible dining experience. A dining experience I’ll never do again. Using the business of the World Cup is not an excuse, D&B markets the eat&play experience and staff should be fully equipped to handle busy events. It was just my 12 year old and I, we weren’t a big party, and didn’t have alcoholic beverages,

  Our family recently went to Dave & Busters on a rainy morning to entertain a two-year-old. She had a blast sitting on cars and motorcycles and playing some of the games. She caught on how to use the card to operate the games and even had fun going from game to game pressing buttons. With all the sounds, lights, and colors it was a great way to entertain her for an hour or more. She enjoyed a few prizes chose for her as well.

  From the very beginning we sat down our server was rude, we tried to make the job easier but they made it harder for themself.. At some point a switch flipped but at that point it was to late, the tone had been set and we could care less. We left a 10% tip (which was $26) and the server proceeded to print out a receipt and circle the tip section and left it on the table which again, goes to show the kind of person we were dealing with. The server earned every single cent of that Tip and not a single penny more. Chose the wrong person to be rude with, could’ve been your best tip Of the week. I won’t mention names or complain officially but something to look out for. Besides that, great atmosphere.

  it was fun here we got the pass for unlimited play. Prizes are horrible, but you can expect that service was pretty bad except for the prize lady who had a lot of patience with my little brother, but when we walked in, we were greeted by a young lady, staring at her phone would not even say hello food was it was good for Dave & Buster’s food. It was not something I would wanna come back for overall pretty good experience.

  This was my first time and I came to watch the World Cup and my server Christen was so rude. As someone who has worked in the food and bev industry, I understand some tables are not the best time to work with and how much manners go a long way. When my party first sits down, she passive aggressively asked one of us “who the adult here was” and then when we were waiting for someone to come she asked if we wanted anything to start. I then go “Can we get some waters please?” And Christen says “ok you want a water” and then proceeds to make a point and asks everyone in my party of 8 individually if they wanted a water. And then we’re finally ready to order and she comes up to specifically me and asks what we would like to start with and then I started to say my order and she cuts me off and looks at the farthest person from me and asks them for their order. When it’s finally my turn I asked if there was a separate happy hour menu because my friend wanted me to ask and Christen just looks at me blankly and points to the table menu in front of me and says “It’s right here.” That’s when I was like I was only clarifying because it looks like an abbreviated menu. My table was not checked in on at all when we got our food, but Christen was all too happy to chat it up and laugh with the tables surrounding us, those who were older and white, unlike my party. I paid attention to her interactions with other tables and she consistently was great with them. She even gave one a hug. If only my friends and I were born white! After my experience, I decided to ask Christen for her name since she wasn’t wearing a name tag to leave her a review. Her name strangely changed to Sarah! How’d that happen!! My interaction with the night shift manager, Kevin, was great though. He was very understanding, especially as he was just coming in for the shift change.
