- JMJocelyn MariOct 6, 20261.0I had an extremely upsetting and embarrassing experience with Nancy and Maria. Maria was incredibly rude to me and yelled at me in front of the other customers simply because I asked for a little more of a topping that is free. I was shocked and humiliated by the way I was treated. When I asked to speak with the manager, Nancy, I specifically told her that Maria’s attitude needed to be addressed. Nancy then told me, “Not in front of all the customers.” What I don’t understand is: why was it unacceptable for me to address Maria’s behavior in front of customers, but it was apparently acceptable for Maria to yell at and embarrass me in front of those same customers? I was not asking for free food. I paid for my meal, and I was simply asking for a little more of a free topping. Even if the answer was no, I deserved to be spoken to respectfully. I have been a loyal Chipotle customer for over 20 years, and Chipotle has always been one of my favorite places to eat. After the way I was treated today, I will never return to Chipotle again. No customer should be yelled at, humiliated in front of an entire restaurant, and then have their concerns dismissed by management.

I put it in the oven when I got home. Please train your new staff on how to make food and in customer service.

Then the manager told me that I had to wait another 10+ minutes while she sat on hold waiting for someone to fix it. Not knowing whether the card went through or not, I wasn’t going to pay cash and didn’t want to download their app. I asked if I could just take my burrito given the inconvenience. The manager refused. Unbelievable. What a bad job. I’m sure they ate my food themselves. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.
