- LML McCormick2 days ago3.0Normally this place is great, but they really missed the mark tonight. Picked up some food for takeout and the fries were lukewarm and soggy, and the I paid extra for crispy onions which were not on the burger. Lesson learned. Check the food before you leave, but you shouldn't have to do that.

Cool fixins and home made sauces are pretty great 'max sauce'. Custom burger white american cheese (yum), lett, tomatoe (always gets gutted and just skin somehow?dissolved on the hot burger?) side of max's sauce. burgers are thin.If there were one we are talking McD's thickness.......still seeking a 'real' burger but a thick one (like one full inch) and happy to pay for it (Clydes has one).bun is good and that really matters-does not fall apart and tastes pretty good.side salad- great with some fresh beet slices (it works well ) home made ranch must. burger change and not as good -2yr ago the bomb - now different not sure what happened. Music too loud. Staff ever changing mostly ok. Bathrooms are no AC but large. Cool feature- good fountain drinks unusual old school flavors and delicious do try them out.Street parking usually works out. about 12 tables inside- no outside tables. Free water bottles in large ice cooler out front for anyone who wants one.

It is a bit wild though that 2 milkshakes are $25+. They are good but not something we can afford to treat ourselves to more than 1 time a month.
