  I came here for the first time with friends and we really enjoyed it . The drinks were bomb shoutout to the La Frik , and the Fried Red Snapper was definitely chefs kiss and the service was great ! We will be back !

  Don't get fooled by the 4.7 stars rating, this is by far the absolute worst service I've ever gotten at a restaurant. The only reason I didn't give it one star is because the Domedo was scrumptious and my son enjoyed his Banger Lamb Chops. HOWEVER... We got there around 9:20-9:30, and there was no host. After a few minutes of standing there and no one acknowledging us, I went and asked the bartender if we were just supposed to sit anywhere, to which she said yes. We sat there for a good 30min before the waitress eventually showed up and apologized, stating that it was only 2 of them working that night. Mind you, the place is small, and there were probably only 5-6 other parties besides us. We placed our order, including drinks (it's around 10pm at this point), and the waitress said that 1- she'd bring us some water right away and 2- the appetizers should be out within 10min. Well, neither one of those things happened. At around 10:40pm, my wife said that if they didn't serve us by 11, she was going to walk out, to which I agreed. A male server brought all of our food out, appetizers and entrees together, a few minutes before 11, and still no water, none of the drinks we ordered, and the wrong rice for my son's order. At around 11:20, so about 2 hours after we arrived, my wife finally got fed up and walked up to the bar to ask for a pitcher of water and 4 glasses for us to finally have something to drink. My wife kept apologizing for ruining my birthday (yep, it was my birthday) and I had to console her and tell her not to apologize for their poor service. But since she was insisting on paying, I simply told her not to leave a tip, not even a penny. Well, they still tipped themselves as they added an automatic gratuity to our bill... for a party of 4... I'm African and I try my best to support black-coated businesses, especially African-owned, but needless to say I am never stepping foot in that place ever again.

  A rich and enjoyable food experience from start to finish. Dishes were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Plates looked attractive and inviting. Portions were well sized and satisfying. Staff ensured everything ran smoothly. A memorable visit.

  I've never had Abosti Suya before. Tried it here and it was awesome. Definitely will be ordering again.

  As you can see from the picture, the food did not look or taste good at all. We ordered a beef pie, but it had an unusual shape, the dough seemed incorrect, and the filling was very minimal. The jollof rice was extremely hard and appeared to have been reheated multiple times. We came in with high expectations, hoping to enjoy authentic African cuisine—specifically Nigerian food—but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of that.
