After waiting for several minutes, another patron who was dining in walked directly in front of me to request a drink refill. What bothered me was not the refill itself, but how the situation was handled. The cashier immediately assisted her without acknowledging me, apologizing for the interruption, or even asking if I minded. I was standing there waiting, yet it felt as though I didn’t exist. To make matters worse, the franchise owners appeared to be in the back laughing and having their own conversation while this was happening. After purchasing a gift card, I left the store feeling disheartened and disrespected. I contacted Chick-fil-A customer service afterward because I wanted to bring awareness to the experience. I was told the franchise owners would be notified and would contact me directly. I never received a follow-up call, which unfortunately only reinforced my impression that customer concerns are not taken seriously at this location. I want to be clear: this experience does not reflect the standard I’ve consistently experienced at other Chick-fil-A restaurants. I’ve always associated Chick-fil-A with kindness, professionalism, and equal treatment of customers. That’s why this stood out so much. If you’ve ever felt overlooked or dismissed at this location, you are not alone. Personally, I would rather drive to the Frederick North/ Liberty Road location, where the service has consistently been welcoming, respectful, and professional. Dwight and his team are the best!
