  Very disappointed with the food. I still ate it because I was hungry, but it tasted like it wasn’t fresh at all. The texture and flavor were off, and it honestly seemed like it had been sitting around for a long time before being served. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t get food from here again.

  Philly cheesesteak, found very few mushroom, lots of grilled onions, hard tomatoes. The cheese fries on the other hand, we found very good. Husband had chicken chipotle cheesesteak, lot of bare bread showing when opening the box. We've had much better cheesesteaks in Frederick. The fries definitely are a hit for us, if we are in the area, we'd stop again for them.

  Like many others I drove by this place being built for years claiming “the world’s best cheesesteak.” Finally got to give it a go tonight. I paid 18$ for the large cheesesteak combo, didn’t have to wait too long but it was later in the evening. After being handed the bag my first impression was “I thought it would be heavier.” The fries smelled good though. When I got home and saw the sandwich there was less meat than I hoped. It had good flavor and the bread was toasted well, not too toasted where it’s flaky, still a little soft. It tasted good, no complaints there. Didn’t wow me, and I expected more meat. The fries were a bit undercooked and soft in the middle. Overall not bad, but definitely not the world’s greatest cheesesteak. Firehouse is comparable if not better.

  I came to this newly opened location at around 2:50-ish. Right after I walked in, I was told I have to get out and wait outside the store until another person leaves the store. When I got inside I was about to purchase a big of chips but I was also looking at the Charley's menu to see if I should get any. The same lady came up to me again and told me I should purchase my items before I look at the menu so it'll make it easier for me?? Which I don't understand how that would make it easier since the line would get longer.. I ended up only purchasing the bag of chips and when I was walking out she was standing there asking for my receipt. I gave it to her and she just took it and kept it with her because she doesn't want us to make a mess because then she's gonna be the one sweeping? There were also people complaining about it taking 20 minutes for one ice cream cone while the worker is just sitting there on his phone. Disappointed.

  Don't waste your time or money. Food is flavorless and they barely give you any meat. They got our order wrong twice. We waited 25mins for our food (2 small cheese steaks and 1 cheese fry) to begin with which we didn't mind because were expecting fresh, quality food. Nope, both orders were completely wrong. So we went back in and wanted a refund but instead they didn't come out to the front instead they hid in the back and they made us wait for our second wrong order. $25 down the drain. We won't be back. Such a disappointment to the franchise name.
