  RACIST!! I WAS RACIALLY PROFILED DO NOT GO HERE First and foremost, this is probably the second time ive came here in my life. I was not going to make a purchase, I was simply nearby and decided to make a pit stop to use the bathroom. As SOON as I enter, I notice a lady who works there that follows me all the way to the bathroom. I was uncomfortable enough with her following me there, but she rushed in to get there before me to hide in the stall. I dont pay it any mind, im frustrated and uncomfortable but I use the bathroom. I come out to wash my hands and sit there to wait for her to come out and question her and shes sitting there constantly flushing the toilet to stall hoping I would leave. After the third flush, I leave out. She then proceeded to follow me while I was on the phone with a friend, at this point im angry. I sit there and stare at her because what are you following me for? I then just decided to leave and as I walk out the CUSTOMER ADVOCATE MANAGER ASHLEY with blond hair aged about 45 possibly decided to follow me out to my friends car outfront. I come out on the phone with him and purposely say that people were following me around the store, she mumbled something under her breath. She then decided to TAKE A PICTURE OF MY FRIENDS LICENSE PLATE!! I didnt notice because I was just done with her. My friend then out his window down and asks if there was a problem with us parking there. She replies “No, you need to stop stealing”. 😐 I then replied and addressed her and informed her that I have no need to steal AND YOU CAN CHECK YOUR CAMERAS. She then walks off talking smack and I reply and tell her to stop racially profiling me and tell her shes racist. It would be one thing if she checked her cameras prior or asked the woman that followed me in the bathroom, i mean even if you would have never saidnwhat you said ok, but you came out disrespectful and WRONG. We then entered the store and asked for her name after we found her hiding in her office, when I asked if she checked her cameras I could see the embarrassment. CORPORATE WILL HE HEARING FROM ME!! HIDE YOUR LICENSE PLATES EVERYONE!!

  They are always out of merchandise !! Employees are exceptional !! So friendly and talk to customers ! I always have t9 leave and go to another store to complete my order !! I am in store every other day, I buy what I feel like eating that day !! Prices are out of control !!!!!

  My experience with this location is that we ordered groceries they shopped it and there was an insect nobody likes to see in their home. We've never had them before. We stopped ordering groceries from that location. We started to order them from store close to Martin blvd. Never had an issue. Started to order from Hyde Park again. We had another of the same insect again. I believe they keep the grocery orders on the floor until arrives to pick them up.

  Would be five stars had it not been for the AGGRESSIVE white woman with tattoos that works customer service (NOT LOSS PREVENTION) I have been a customer here for over 4yrs and never had a problem. On 8/27/2026 around 8:30am in the self check out line with 6 cameras and an associate (Shawn) monitoring me I began to peacefully scan my groceries. I have a disorder where I have to organize things by size which is why I choose self check out. I held a packet of Oregano from Badia in my right hand as it was the smallest item before my lemons which were the last thing in my basket to be scanned. I finished scanning my bigger items and had them neatly placed in the scanned section of the register. I then scanned the seasonings and laid it neatly on top of my already scanned pile of groceries. Completing all packaged goods I went to grab my unscanned lemons. Out of know where I feel a shove from my right, I look over my right shoulder to witness this Aggressive white lady with tattoos going through my scanned pile destroying the organization with no explanation. I felt so violated and uncomfortable! I then made a disgruntled face and before I could speak the aggressive woman finally spoke saying “where is the seasoning packet” Still confused on who she is as she did not introduce of identify herself. I point at the packet of seasonings sitting at the top of the scanned pile. She then responded “ohhh well you didn’t scan it” Still in shock I pointed to the register which shows that the packet of seasonings is and was in fact SCANNED. After realizing she was incorrect instead of apologizing for her error she began to get even more aggressive after I stated “ you don’t just come into peoples space like that” She then responded “This is how we do things sometimes we just walk around an do stuff like this” I was so in easy I didn’t feel comfortable spending my money here anymore. I left the groceries there and didn’t spend a dime. After speaking with a manager and requesting to file a complaint. I was told that he would “speak” with the woman. No apology ever received from the aggressive woman. The aggressive white woman has bullied many other customers. From the parking lot to the register. Way to go Food lion With this being the only grocery store in the area because shoppers closed down is heart breaking… Have to find a new place to grocery shop now.
