  This location was a good one but they have clearly begun to understaff the place. They had a single girl running the front, who was very kind and working hard, but had no support. Two workers working the drive through and it didn’t seem busy on that end. This place used to be fast and clean with plenty of staff.

  To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to inform you of a very unusual and disappointing experience that occurred today at the Chipotle location in Elkton, Maryland. I initially placed an order through the app for drive-thru pickup. After picking up my food and driving approximately 20 minutes home, I discovered that both of my Chipotle bowls were missing ingredients. One bowl was missing fajita vegetables and beans, while the other was missing fajita vegetables and tomatoes. Because the order was incorrect and the food was already getting cold, I drove back to the restaurant to have the issue corrected. Upon arriving at the store, I spoke with an individual who identified herself as the manager, Jayla. She initially offered to provide the missing ingredients in separate cups. I politely declined because the food was already cold, and I simply wanted two fresh bowls remade correctly while I was in the restaurant and could verify that the order was prepared accurately. Unfortunately, Jayla informed me that I would not be receiving newly made bowls and instead began placing the missing ingredients on top of the cold bowls I had brought back. I explained multiple times that I did not want additional ingredients added to food that had already become cold and that I would prefer fresh bowls. However, she insisted that what she provided was the only option available. I found this interaction very concerning. Rather than attempting to resolve the issue or show empathy for the inconvenience of a second 40-minute round trip, Jayla appeared unwilling to help and instructed her staff not to remake the bowls. At that point, I spoke with another employee at the front counter and explained the situation. Since I could not get a satisfactory resolution, I ultimately paid for two entirely new bowls out of pocket. As a result, I spent nearly $60 for what should have been two correctly prepared bowls. I left the original bowls at the restaurant and purchased two additional bowls to take home. What was most disappointing was not the missing ingredients but the manner in which the situation was handled. Jayla showed very little concern for the inconvenience, never apologized, and demonstrated what I felt was a poor attitude throughout the interaction. When asked about a refund, she simply stated that I would need to request one online. Because of this experience, I do not plan on returning to this location. I am requesting a refund for the original order, as the food was prepared incorrectly and I was ultimately forced to purchase a second order to receive the meal I initially paid for. I would also appreciate someone reviewing this situation and the customer service I received

  If I would give it a 0 star I would. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been to chipotle in general but I stopped at this location today. Walked in the first thing I noticed the music was overly loud for it being 11am and no one in the store. The man at the register said he would be right back. So I waited. There where 4 other people behind the counter prepping and carrying on with there conversation. As I’m standing there I’m looking at the counter and the glass and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a hot second. Stood there for 8 mins “waiting” for this guy to come back so I can order. After having another look around me at the “ cleanliness” of this location that just opened for the day and still no service I walked out. Probably safer for my health at this point too.

  WOW customer service at its finest! My gf has celiac (very sensitive to gluten, even cross-contamination) and after witnessing the person putting orders together touch the serving spoons to other customers flour tortillas multiple times, my gf asked politely if they could make her burrito bowl from fresh ingredients from the back. After being puzzled at the request, John obliged and started opening new bags of beans, cut chicken right from the grill, changed his gloves multiple times etc. What a fantastic surprise instead of being used to being told “there’s nothing we can do.” Also, I ordered a Apollo Asado bowl and mine was delicious, even if not as fresh as hers 🙃
