There is an employee all the way at the end of the deli literally doing nothing to help the one employee that is working. Absolutely ridiculous. This store is way overpriced and the service absolutey sucks. Shop elsewhere................. Update: Got the usual "corporate" response that FAILED to address the problem that prompted the negative review and instead got a response about the wonderful sales and coupons they offer to save you money. Sorry Giant, but that doesn't address the 45 minute wait for a pound of deli meat. DO BETTER. Now 12:30 on a Friday a few weeks later. Nothing has changed. Long line at the deli with only one associate working. Nothing ever changes here. Bunch of other associates in the area "looking busy". One is on her phone, too busy to help out. The one associate that is working is asking Andrew where Gene is. No one knows. What a joke. Great job Giant management. Let's see what your corporate response is this time.

The freezer was right behind them. The staff said “I don’t work in that department.”. Yet, they were wearing Giant Food shirt/uniform and stacking the cartons of eggs. The other customer heard the staff response and helped me. I have been a long time customer at this local Giant Food store, and this is such a disappointment and sadden experience. Please do better.
