  Jimmy john’s is far superior bc why is the sandwich lacking in meat and toppings every single time I come here..

  Horrible Experience at Jimmy John’s Crofton Ruined My Lunch (Again) I go to this Jimmy John’s location in Crofton all the time and usually order the same sub. I always specifically ask for it not toasted. The last two visits have been complete disasters. A couple weeks ago I had reward points to redeem for a free sandwich. I gave my phone number when ordering and reminded them about the points both before and after. They said I couldn’t use them and I’d “just have to use them next time.” I didn’t have time to stand in line and argue, so I let it go. My lunch wasn’t ruined that time, but I felt rushed and they weren’t helpful at all. What’s the point of having points if I can’t use them when I want? Today I went back hoping the previous issues were just from poor training. I ordered my usual sub, reminded them again not toasted, and took it to go for my lunch break. When I got home, the bottom of the bread was hard as a rock. (See attached photos) I only took a few bites because this was my only break for the day and I don’t have time to go back. I tried telling myself maybe it wasn’t that bad, but it was. I don’t even want it anymore. I called immediately. Instead of any apology, empathy, offer to remake it, or even basic customer service, the employee (who I assume was a manager) insisted, “I know the bread isn’t hard, I made it myself.” Both a male and female staff member repeated this. I explained that I ordered a sandwich and the bottom of the bread was hard it doesn’t matter that they “just made it.” I offered to bring it back once I was off my lunch break, but they showed zero interest in fixing it or making it right. I asked for a refund and was denied. I told them I would bring the sandwich back so they could see for themselves and that I expected a refund at that point. The whole interaction was rude and defensive. This was the staff I’ve never seen before the usual crew is much nicer and more professional. Today’s experience was awful. I told them my bread was hard and their response was basically “we made it so it can’t be.” My lunch break is now completely ruined. I have to waste more of my time going back there, and based on the phone call, I’m not confident I’ll actually get a proper sandwich or my refund without a pointless debate. This location has lost a regular customer. I won’t be returning after today. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. (Photos below should show a freshly made UNTOASTED sub)
