  I haven't had L&L since I was last in Hawaii over 37 years ago. I knew there were locations here on the Mainland but this is the first I've heard having one two hours away from me. That being said, I had to go and the food was great.

  Good location that stays true to the brand. The menu is missing some of the island favorites (like any beef/curry stew options or laulau), but that is typically the case for mainland franchise locations. Food has the taste you expect from L&L and portion sizes are pretty good. Note: Just like at the Hawaii locations they cook everything to order, so you need to plan for about 15-minutes of cook time.

  Almost "Hawaiʻi" - flavors reminiscent of Hawaii but not quite. Kalua and cabbage was tender and juicy, but not enough smoke flavor. Short ribs were very thin, BBQ flavored, but not "seared in the coals" juicy.
