My book club read The Lion Women of Tehran. I am not Persian. I went there to get food for my book club luncheon. I wrote down the names of food mentioned in the book, which is a big part of the story. The people there helped me organize a luncheon for 10 women. It was FABULOUS! Not only were the staff amazingly helpful, but the food was delicious. Everyone has so much fun discussing the book AND the food. Thank you Boro Kabob.

Easily my go-to Persian food spot in maryland. The food is top tier, the portions are great, and everything I’ve had there has been consistently fresh and cooked perfectly. Their zereshk polo is by far my favorite so definitely try it if you haven’t but you can’t go wrong with anything you pick.

The worst food I have ever had.
I ordered the lamb kabob, and it tasted awful. The meat was so tough that I couldn't even cut it with a knife, let alone chew it. It seemed like it was extremely old or of very poor quality.
We also ordered zereshk polo with chicken, but instead we were served four pieces of chicken kabob with two tomatoes. It was nothing like what we ordered.
Please don't waste your time or your money here. This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had.

We all had a wonderful time in Boro Kabab for the first time being there. All staff, particularly Sanaz, was so kind, welcoming, and warm. She also asked us for any music we want to play and we played Bala from Andy and had a lot of fun :). The food was really great. It felt like being in Iran. They also make Safran ice cream, but didn't have at that time we were there. They sent us to the nearby Persian store where we could find their ice cream. We went there and purchased Safran ice cream as well as faloodeh. Both were absolutely great. Definitely try them both, great taste.

We had a wonderful experience! Trish and Sanaz were incredibly warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Their hospitality really made our visit special.
The food was absolutely delicious and had that fresh, healthy, homemade taste that you don’t find very often. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared with quality ingredients.
If you’re looking for a place with great food and genuinely kind people, I highly recommend this restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!
You can really feel the love and care they put into both the food and the way they treat their guests.
