- JBJennifer Berringer5 days ago1.0I was in self serve line. When I saw an open register, I moved to that register, only to see it was closed. I backed up and the cashier in the nearest checkout register started yelling at me for letting me cutting.she kept telling,go back in line, you cannot cut in line. I tried to explain I had been in line, but she kept yelling in front of several customers I was so embarrassed, I just walked away pretty upset that she was basically calling me a liar. She would not give me her name saying, what do you want that for? To report you of course, I replied. She did not give me her name. I have been a customer at this Safeway since 1983, when I moved to Clinton. I have never seen a safeway employee accuse a customer of anything. I am sad because it is right down the street from me and has always been a place of helpfulness and polite behavior. I know many of the cashiers and have never seen this one before. Any way, there is really nothing you can do to undo this. I am just one customer.

I didn't get an answer to the question I had, and just decided to end the call, due to the attitude of the "Customer Service Agent." I'll just drive to another grocery store outside of this area. This is exactly the reason I rarely visit this neighborhood store, and started shopping near my work location. I wish this Safeway would do better!

- MZM ZSep 7, 20261.0Not only did I stand in front of the seafood counter for over ten minutes and the two gentleman working in that department said nothing to me. I them proceeded to speak to a manager. Instead of them coming out because a customer requested to speak to them they send the associate who I asked foe them to come back and ask me what I wanted. No customer service at all in this location. I will not be back nor recommended anyone coming here.
