Whoever the gentleman was today that was stocking the waters around 4:45ish needs to not wear headphones while working if he is unable to a) have spatial awareness when working the pallet machine and b) unable to respond to a customer repeatedly yelling trying to get his attention as he was about to back into my kid. We weren’t able to move as we were caught between him, another customer behind me, and the display of water in the middle. When I was finally able to say something to him, he tried to tell me that he saw my kid. If you saw my kid sir, why did you continue backing up and not say a word when I was yelling we were right behind you? He never apologized, just kept saying he sees my baby like his baby…I hope not for his kids sake…ended up leaving the store before finishing all of our shopping cause my kid kept worrying about anyone with a cart hitting her after that. Nobody that was easily identified as a manager was around, or anyone at customer service.

I have been going to this store since it opened and it just keeps getting worse. When you go grocery shopping you want to get in and out as soon as possible but here lately there are only 2 registers open and one of them is express. I know that I could check my own self out but with the prices increasing all the time I refuse to do their job.

I love stopping here whenever I'm on a road trip because I know exactly where to find all my favorite snacks and supplies. The aisles are always neat and easy to navigate, and the staff is typically very friendly and quick at the checkout counters. It’s definitely a reliable spot to pick up whatever you need without any stress or hassle.

On my visit, after completing my self-checkout, I approached the customer service desk at approximately 5:47 PM to cash in a lottery voucher. While waiting, I noticed an employee at Register 3 (later identified as Janice) repeatedly making eye contact with me. During this time, several employees, including the self-checkout clerk who had just assisted me, walked by without acknowledging my presence or offering assistance.
After waiting approximately eight minutes, I asked a passing employee if he knew who could assist me. He approached Register 3, where Janice again made eye contact but did not speak or offer assistance. After a brief delay, she called for another employee, Bobby, to come to the customer service counter. Bobby arrived promptly and provided friendly and professional service.
My concern is that I was left waiting for over 10 minutes without any acknowledgment, despite clear visibility and multiple opportunities for the employee to either assist me or simply communicate that someone would be with me shortly. A brief acknowledgment would have demonstrated basic courtesy and attentiveness.
As a frequent shopper at this location, I expect a higher standard of customer service. While I appreciate Bobby’s professionalism, the lack of responsiveness from the other employee was disappointing and does not reflect well on the store’s customer service standards.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to reinforce the importance of acknowledging and assisting customers in a timely manner.
