  This store has the typical "Panera" feel. However, at this location, the majority of the employees work painfully slow, and are ignorant and uncaring about basic customer service. The staff often socialize (and loudly) among themselves, while ignoring customers waiting to place an order. They could benefit from a field trip to the Abingdon, MD Panera Bread store.

  Manager argued with me over $3.79 cents after my daughter couldn’t get a fountain drink because their soda machine didn’t work right. At first I spoke with a cashier who was this black girl with a weird look on her face. When I told her the situation she aggressively said that I could not get a refund. The manager came over and told me he’s never heard of that before…do you think I’m lying to you over $3.79 cents?? 😂 If I paid for it and your machine isn’t working and you can’t provide the right service then yes I want my money back. If you can’t use normal human logic or have no sense, don’t be in customer service..oh yeah…and they messed up our food too but we didn’t even complain about that. Someone needs to change management here because this manager will literally argue with anyone over anything 😂

  Lys was an amazing worker with great customer service. She was super sweet and made the most incredible smoothie. She absolutely made my entire day.

  I’m not sure why the chicken in my salad was warm and tasted off but hopefully I don’t get sick. Proper temperature control is important Panera..
