  OKAYYYYY. NEW MANAGEMENT! MY SEVICE WAS AWSOME. I WILL DEFINITELY COME TO THIS LOCATION. SHOUT TO "DAY" AND I "ISAIAH" THEY DID GREAT WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. IM VERY PLEASED WITH THE NEW STAFF. AND SERVICE

  This location is great BUT the store manager Shay is the worst. I stopped in there a couple of days ago. With great energy/customer service, Shay told me if I went on Google and left a good rating, take a picture of it and bring it into the store she will give customers a free smoothie. I said that's nice but will that be honored if you are not here? She immediately said yes, she has informed the staff/they are aware and will honor it. I went in Friday morning (may 1st) with my picture/told them everything Shay said, and they immediately said they couldn't do it because she did not tell them how to code and/or ring it in the register. To be clear, the young ladies were very nice and said they are really sorry but that they didn't want to lose their jobs-which I totally understood. I told them that I asked Shay if she wasn't here would it be honored and she said yes, but clearly that was a lie. The young lady then said, she's in route/running about 15-20 minutes late if you want to wait for her. I accepted the offer to wait, which was a mistake because at the 20 minute mark she still hadn't arrived. At that point, I told the girls that I was leaving, this didn't make any sense. Additionally, I told them their customer service was great/I did not blame them and that they can let Shay know, I am removing the good rating/updating with a new one regarding her whole UNPROFESSIONAL FREE SMOOTHIE SCAM! The young ladies went on to say, I am not the only one she told, it's been other customers coming in with the same story but she has not told us how to put it in the register and until that happens we can't risk our jobs. She is hustling customers for ratings, while putting the employees in bad situations because everyone is not as understanding and I am. Meaning, at any given moment a customer can go off on any of the employees based off of something Shay, the store manager promised a customer. As for me, I will never step foot in that location again! It's deplorable to hustle customers and she needs to be fired because a scam like that causes them to lose out if not honored. I'm quite sure I am not the only customer who refuses to return to that location. I've also put this review on Yelp, Facebook page and I will be alerting corporate of this SCAM.

  I ordered a chia pudding bowl from Tropical Smoothie in Bowie on April 30, 2026 (Annapolis Road) and received an one week old bowl (April 23, 2026). I called to notify them about the expired contents and they told me that Im unable to receive a refund because I ordered it through the app and picked it up at the store; however, I was told that they will replace it. I complained about that and she said thats why she offered me a replacement bowl. I said thats what you should do, the one I was given was expired. I'm just disappointed that the extent of care was not given by the employees to ensure freshness of food given to customers! Be careful when you pickup orders and look at the dates on the sticker!!! The standard is really going down!

  Everyone serving at this location is filled with such light and positive energy! Shay greets you like your family from the minute you walk in as if she’s known you your whole life. They work very swiftly and get your order out promptly. They seem to genuinely enjoy what they do! Joe, Raoul and all the rest of the team! This will be the only location I come to. 5 stars all across the board
