  I am absolutely disgusted with the service I received in the bakery department at this Giant. I waited for forty minutes without a single employee in the department to help me. I had to walk back and forth to customer service multiple times just to get someone to come back there. When the exempt manager, Tonya Ham, finally showed up, she was completely unhelpful and displayed the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. She never apologized for the wait and looked me up and down multiple times before trying to take my order. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue so I could get a birthday cake baked for my daughter, she offered zero solutions and zero alternative options. The lack of accountability and basic courtesy is unacceptable. The store manager Berington Jones really needs to evaluate how this department is being run and address the poor leadership, because this ruined my daughter's birthday plans.

  Produce Department: I would like to recognize Donovan in the produce department at Giant Foods in Bowie, Maryland, for his outstanding customer service. Donovan is always thoughtful, patient, and attentive whenever I shop there. Recently, the store was low on thyme, which is an ingredient I use often in my grilling recipes. I mentioned to Donovan that it would be great if more could be ordered each week. When I returned to the store today, Donovan came over to say hello and proudly shared that he remembered to request additional thyme for the store. Because of his attentiveness, I was able to purchase exactly what I needed. That level of care and follow through truly stands out. Giant Foods is very fortunate to have Donovan as part of the team. He gets 10+ stars from me and is one of the reasons the Bowie location is my favorite store. Cart and Lot Attendants: Raeshawn at Giant Foods in Southlake is amazing! She’s always so kind and helpful—whether it’s offering a cart or taking it back for us. Her thoughtful words and genuine friendliness make every visit better. Giant is lucky to have her!

  I enjoy this location. For one thing the store is always so bright and well lit. Everything is always fresh and the store is always clean. The employees are nice and pleasant.
