  A terrific hole-in-the-wall tapas restaurant. Guardado's was highly recommended by a friend. Another friend and I shared 4 tapas for lunch today -- spinach, chicken thighs, shrimp in garlic, and spicy sausage. All were delicious, portions were just right for two people. Prompt attentive service. A keeper, for sure.

  We sat outside where it was quieter. Lovely to imagine we were in Europe.... The soup - gazpacho - was delicious, as were the two tapas. My entree, a steak ,was sadly overcooked with not a hint of pink . Still, it had sauce, my partner was eating and a waiter not in sight, so by the time a waiter appeared it was too late to return. My error. He agreed it was overcooked but did not offer any consolation eg a desert or perhaps a free appetizer with a next visit as gesture of goodwill. Still, we will return but only to have tapas.

  Food was fine, not beyond expectation. However, we had a negative experience with the service. We ordered a paella, and was clear that it would take 30-40 minutes. Our server asked whether we wanted another appetizer and we ordered one even thinking that bread will be provided as the menu stated they will provide two rounds and will start charging at round 3. We waited about 30 minutes and nothing came, server never came back to check on us so we had to ask other staff who was filling our water to check on it. We got out appetizer with a simple “sorry we thought you already got it” when we have not even unwrapped our silverwares. Then our paella came and we didn’t worry about the bread until we noticed one on every single table except for us. When asked our server said it was upon request but I do not believe everyone else requested it. To be fair they offered for us to take them to go and we declined, but the waiting period was really unpleasant. Would not be back

  Best food I have ever taste it and late happy hour with cocktails. the hibiscus margaritas are amazing. 100% recommend it!

  This was our first time at Guardado's and our experience was absolutely wonderful. The food arrived hot and delicious. The different sauces were so unique and tasty. Our waitress was very pleasant and professional. We will definitely be coming back again.
