  Can’t wait for Giant to come. Just banned food lion for life. Item scanned 2 dollars higher than shelf price. Cashier would not adjust I paid walked back and took a picture of item and tag on shelf. Went to help desk and provided proof of difference they refunded 2 dollars. I pointed out their company policy is “Scanner price guarantee” item is to be free. Not honored. I Called corporate offices their representative stated it’s up to each store on whether they wish to honor that policy. I can’t trust their system and surely don’t want to take pictures of every price tag and match to receipt. That’s really not convenient if purchasing 30 to 40 items.

  This is a crappie food lion. They were not stocked. The deli girl had an attitude. The deli it self didn't have hardly any decent deli meat. Just terrible. Glad I don't have to come here often!!!!

  The store is clean and they have some items I purchase that walmart doesn't have which is cool. Items are easy to find and prices aren't the worst out there. Bathrooms are clean but they're all the way in the back. Strawberries are notorious for being moldy or close to becoming moldy but idk if that is food lions fault. The worst part about food lion is they have this super loud floor cleaning machine going on while the store is open in the evening that I ABSOLUTELY HATE. I believe it's propane powered (you can smell it) and it's so unbelievably loud. The employees shouldn't be forced to be subjected to this, it's hearing loss waiting to happen. If you wanna go shopping here, be sure to leave the store before like 7:30 or 8:00 pm because that's when they use the loud machine.
