- AAAApr 22, 20263.0The store is clean and they have some items I purchase that walmart doesn't have which is cool. Items are easy to find and prices aren't the worst out there. Bathrooms are clean but they're all the way in the back. Strawberries are notorious for being moldy or close to becoming moldy but idk if that is food lions fault. The worst part about food lion is they have this super loud floor cleaning machine going on while the store is open in the evening that I ABSOLUTELY HATE. I believe it's propane powered (you can smell it) and it's so unbelievably loud. The employees shouldn't be forced to be subjected to this, it's hearing loss waiting to happen. If you wanna go shopping here, be sure to leave the store before like 7:30 or 8:00 pm because that's when they use the loud machine.
