They accidentally forgot include salad dressing with my order. When I called back in, they instantly transferred me to the manager.
He sympathized with me, validated my frustration and made things right. I absolutely will be back!!
Thank you Abraham!!

I have never encountered such an unprofessional customer service experience at a food service establishment.
I placed a catering order scheduled for pickup between 8:15–8:30 AM. I arrived at approximately 8:32 AM and proceeded to the pickup counter. I gave the employee behind the counter my name and informed him I was there for my order. He looked through the prepared packages, confirmed my name, printed something from the monitor, and walked to the back.
About five minutes later, he returned with paperwork and asked me to sign for the order. I asked what I was signing for, and he stated it was confirmation that I had received my order. I responded that I had not yet received anything. He then told me I still needed to sign it anyway. I calmly explained that I would sign once the order was actually provided to me.
At that point, his demeanor became dismissive and rude. He responded with, “Oh whatever, it’s not a big deal.” I explained that it was a big deal because I had already been standing there for several minutes with no communication regarding the status of my order, only to then be asked to sign for something I had not received.
He walked away without explanation. I returned to the counter to look for a name tag, at which point he asked, “Is there something you want to say?” I explained that I was trying to get his name so I could file a complaint. He identified himself as “John.”
Several minutes later, he returned with bags and placed them on the counter without saying a word to me. While I was still standing there, he began complaining to a coworker about me, stating that I had “a go at him for nothing” and describing how terrible his morning had been. I responded, please dont do that. Dont do that.
Only then did he finally mention that I was also waiting for a box of coffee.
What made the interaction even more concerning was observing the same employee mishandle another customer’s order moments later. He attempted to hand over two liters of juice in a paper bag that immediately burst from the weight. Although he offered another bag, he still appeared unable to recognize the need to properly reinforce the packaging.
Busy mornings happen. Delays happen. What is unacceptable is poor communication, dismissive behavior, and openly complaining about customers in front of them. Basic professionalism and communication are fundamental customer service skills, especially when handling catering orders.
John should not be placed in a front-facing customer service role until additional customer service training is provided.
