I've been chasing a decent vegan crab cake since I went plant-based in 2014 and Land of Kush's version might be the best I've had anywhere, vegan or otherwise! Built on a textured vegetable protein base instead of the usual jackfruit gave it a generous meaty texture. It came out piping hot, golden brown, and loaded with Old Bay and a side yum yum sauce - insane. We also ordered the chickun salad wrap and it pulled apart like a slow-motion sandwich commercial. The portions were perfectly sized, a rarity very appreciated, even though it meant we didn't get to try the BBQ ribs, the carrot tuna, or the mac & cheese (next time)! We grabbed seats at the bar lining the windows and just watched the world go by, surrounded by fascinating local artwork and more vegan resources than I've seen in one restaurant, amazing. This is a place with a soul and you can taste it.

I'm very pleased that I finally had a chance to visit Land of Kush while in Baltimore for an event. Vegan soul food in what's clearly a community hub managed with care and friendliness. I liked the crab cakes but loved the ribs. I was messaging friends to tell them to go! Looking forward to my next visit but also wish they'd open a location near my place so I wouldn't have to go so far.
Absolute BEST vegan soul food ANYWHERE. My non-vegan kids don't know AND don't care! The ribs are stellar with a zippy sauce, the crab cakes will fool anyone, and every side a treat. Don't skip the collard greens!!!
The crab cakes where ok. Presentation wasn't that great. They looked like muffins. This was my first visit. I was expecting my order to ve ready when I arrived. I scheduled it so.... I may come back again for a second try. The mac and cheese, collard greens and cabbage was good. I think the BBQ ribs wrap was too thick. The sorrell was good.

I love Land of Kush. It’s been years since the last time I visited. I’m excited for my meal, as I’m trying something new, per the customer reps recommendation.
I got an entree with crab cakes, coconut curry cabbage and Mac & cheese. Oh and can’t forget the 24oz ginger drink!
Land of Kush is the vegan restaurant to visit in Baltimore. Enjoy!!!
