    Friendly staff and great stock—they usually have exactly what I’m looking for. The sales and digital coupons are actually relevant to things I buy, and the prices are better than Giant. The app can be a bit annoying since it asks you to choose between in-store, pickup, or delivery every single time you open it, but it’s still way better than Giant’s app and never freezes.

    I live in the area and shop mostly at this store. I have always had nothing but good things to say. I came home from a long day of work, waiting on my grocery order. My order arrived one time, I received items that I didn't even order and missing some that I order. I called Safeway immediately. I was frustrated of not having things I needed to prep my food. I spoke with Ms. Kim assistant manager, she was very polite and professional. Ms Kim apologized and assured me she would be sending my order back out within an hour due to their mistake. I was waiting in the lobby of my building and my phone rang ,it was Ms Kim letting me know my order has left the store . My order arrived within 15 min. I would like to Thank you Ms Kim and the Safeway associates, for making things right.

    I put in 2 online delivery orders from this location. One for my elderly mother to be delivered between 10-11AM. Received hers a little after 11:31AM because the driver was delayed. I live in Federal Hill so I completely understood. The other order was for myself, paid for the "fastest" delivery time between 12pm-2pm. Whoever was shopping for my items didn't start until after 1PM and didn't finish until 2:36PM. Causing concern for me because frozen/refrigerated items were part of the order. Didn't get my order until almost 4pm and one of the cheap paper bags tore apart and the diced onions I ordered fell out because the bags were wet from the food perspiring. The delivery girl was sweet and she kept apologizing for the bags even though it wasn't her fault. Don't label it as the fastest delivery time when; people still receive their orders late, our food is not kept in insulated bags to keep items cold/fresh (like ALDI does) and we don't receive compensation for late deliveries. I paid over $40 for 2 separate delivery fees. I'll be ordering my groceries elsewhere.

    the security measures they’ve installed here are ridiculous and make you feel like a criminal just walking into the store. from the ominous voice outside over the security machine PA and the blue floodlights in the parking lot, to the entry gate that was broken and loudly beeping every couple seconds over and over until it drives you crazyz maybe they wouldn’t need the absurd security measures if their prices weren’t so high, or if they had more checkouts open, instead of the frustrating self-checkouts with automated voices adding to the cacophony along with the endless beeping. I see the store responds to all of these reviews, maybe instead of spending time apologizing on here, more time could be spent addressing the rampant problems with your store.

    On June 2, 2026, around 8:30 PM, I visited the Safeway Western Union service to send money to my family. I was sending $1,500 to one family member and $1,500 to another, something I have successfully done at other locations before without any issues. During my visit, I did not have a positive experience with the staff member assisting me. The interaction felt a bit unprofessional, and my situation was not clearly explained or properly addressed. My transaction was ultimately not completed, which was disappointing. I understand that employees must follow company policies and procedures. However, I believe customers should still be treated with respect and clear communication. I hope this feedback helps improve customer service in the future.
