  To be honest. I don’t “shop” here at Safeway. I find their prices to be so expensive compared to any of their competitors, however I’m a customer of their pharmacy. They’ve taken care of my family’s and my medication for years now. Fast, easy, and timely. I usually never have much of an issue and when I do, they try to remedy it quickly. The pharmacist’s Nick & Jennifer are great people, knowledgeable and helpful. Nice team overall.

  I never do this but this Safeway has gone down hill. To get in and out of the store is like a matrix; recently they created more barriers/blockades to prevent shop people from freely leaving the store with ease. Why do they treat customers this way?? Particularly stores in black communities. The prices go up, you would think your customer service and treatment of customers would go up as well. No, instead you treat all customers like potential threats. Shameful.

  I placed an order last evening for groceries to be delivered 7 am to 11 am. This morning I checked the order and a message stated to choose another time so they would have time to fulfill it. I chose 10-12 noon. At 11:40 am I received a text that my order would be delayed. I waited 45 minutes before I inquired via chat with an agent. They said my order was ready but they are waiting for a driver. One 1.5 hours later I get into another chat. They said to call the store “if” there is a problem with the payment..”. No problems there. Already processing in my checking account. The rep apologized and said they already put a complaint into corporate. She also could cancel my order but it will take 7 days to get a refund. Total BS. I need my groceries. I can’t wait for 7 days to get MY money back and who has a couple hundred extra these days to put out for it all over again?!! I have been in the phone now for 25 minutes and counting with this store. Someone answered them transferred me and I’ve been in a loop. Can’t reach no one. Just beware of using Safeway for deliveries at 4401 Harford Rd. Unacceptable!

  This stores new security barricading the entrances and all exits and proof of receipt is not only illegal but its completely unsafe. As a local it pains me to see a once convenient grocery store turn into such an exhausting experience every time I have to walk through the sliding glass doors to shop at this god forsaken place.
