This store has little offer other than the gas station outside. There are usually few or no carts, and the ones there are full of trash and the wheels broken. I suppose they have gotten rid of cart retrieval as they now have a security guard to prevent people from stealing since they have few or no cashiers. It appears that baked goods are shipped in from another location, as there are no fresh bagel choices. But the most irksome thing recently has been at the deli. I went in yesterday at 4:00 pm to get the fried chicken on sale. The lady behind the counter told me they don't have any. I expressed my displeasure since they told me the same thing the last time I went in, and the attendant was unwilling to make any more. She wished me a good day, and went to the next customer. She had no intention of making any more, and clearly acted like she didn't care. I left and went to Enchanted Forest Safeway in Ellicott City. Not only did they have fresh fried chicken, but they had fresh baked goods. It's just not worth going to the Safeway in Catonsville anymore since both the quality and the service have fallen to a level that isn't worth the gamble.

Most of the employees are friendly, the main issue here is product quality. I bought Perdue Rotisserie chicken on June 14th and it expired May 23. It’s constantly issues like this, you have to watch out for so many expired items on shelf. God forbid you do a pick up or delivery through the app. Either get expired/missing goods or random substitutes. I ordered French toast sticks instead of a refund they gave me Watermelon fruit bars??? I shop here for convenience not preference.

The seafood department needs to give more attention to there foods. Seafood expiration dates, odor. You can always tell when seafood is bad due to the strong fishy smell. Why is it that your customers smell it, but your employees don't. Then when you bring to there attention they act like they he shock. Oh you smell it.😱😱😱😡😡. Why would you take a risk in getting your customers sick. 😡😡
