I came in for sale items and was told they didn't know what items were on sale in the seafood department so she couldn't sell it to me, then when I get to check out lane an item wasn't ringing properly and he told me he didn't have time to assist me with the price. I should have went to Catonsville.

I took one bite, spat it out, and then bagged it, hoping to get my money back since they sold me a bad product. However, they did not allow me to return it or pick out another one because it had been cut up too much. This greedy corporation tends to ignore the fact that sometimes fruits look ripe but end up tasting spoiled. If this place were still owned by Shoppers, they definitely would have been fair and allowed me to return it. But because the store was cannibalized by Safeway’s multi-billion-dollar corporate monopoly, they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and what is morally right. People need to wake up; these multi-billion-dollar corporations are ruining our country and throwing essential, independent small businesses under the bus. This grocery store has lost its soul to billionaires like the rest of the USA.

I can see them in the case however, I gentleman working the deli section advised me there is no one on duty to work that section therefore, I couldn’t purchase any. I don’t understand why someone couldn’t be. Called up to assist. So I suppose NO shoppers are able to purchase seafood displayed in the case because of a staff shortage! It makes no sense to me and it’s worse when I used gas and time to make the trip there only to be told that when I can see them right there!! Poor management!!!
