  I don't really eat cabbage like that, but I effed the cabbage up that I got on here. So good!

  The friendly bartender crafted the margaritas with a generously heavy pour. The fried catfish dinner was well seasoned, enjoyable & reasonably priced. Inviting restaurant for social gatherings, date night or dinner alone.

  Grabbed lunch here while on jury duty and it was amazing! I was missing my years spent in New Orleans and needed some fried catfish and corn bread! Will now be eating here regularly!

  First, because they serve a decent amount of fried food here, I don’t recommend you utilize any delivery services; it will not arrive nearly as good as ordering in store. Now, onto the food… The bayou pasta with chicken was a nice sized portion, but completely lacked flavoring - disappointing. The chicken sandwich was two fried tenders on a bun with a pathetic slice of tomato and some lettuce - don’t recommend. The green beans weren’t so much green beans as they were some sort of greens sautéed in vinegar - not good. The Mac ‘n cheese was good, but a small portion. Overall, while I don’t regret giving this place a try, I would never recommend them nor go back.

  This place has really gone down over the years. It used to be really nice. Most recent visit was Monday because I jury duty. As usual, very slow for it to be so empty. Candy was calling for the next customer before the one she was serving could step to the side. I personally don't like ppl up on my back and was respectful of the person in front of me despite candy being in a rush to take orders. She also chastised one gentleman who wanted to use the restroom before ordering, telling him he needed to check with her first. I had to go as well but opted to wait because it didn't seem like using the restroom was a right of a customer. Now let's take about the food. Geez i wish i had taken a picture of the sad, sad, sad Caesar salad with chicken.....$14 for the most plain excuse for a salad I've ever seen. Just awful. This place may be right across the street from the courthouse but save your time and money.
