I clarified that my intention was to place a new order. Subsequently, the employee engaged in a conversation with a colleague for an estimated three to four minutes, during which they interacted with the register and processed an order for a burger. Following this, the employee indicated her readiness to take my order. My response, "Oh, now you're ready to take my order?", was met with continued conversation between the employee and her colleague in a language other than English. The employee then offered an apology, accompanied by a discernible smirk. At this point, I requested to speak with the manager. Upon the manager's inquiry regarding the situation, I recounted the events as described. The manager's response was, "Well, I'll take your order." The initial employee then moved away from the register, continuing her conversation in another language and addressing a colleague in the cooking area. Given these circumstances, I no longer felt comfortable having my food prepared by the staff. The overall experience was unsatisfactory.

Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
