  I’ve been to this restaurant before … 3 or 4 times. It was mediocre at best. But now I’m not going downtown anymore because of crime. Best Greek food is downtown! Had 5:30 reservation. Was early. Only a few people were in the place. I and my friend ordered. One crab dip appetizer and entrees. 20 /25 minutes later. No appetizer. People started arriving and the table next to us received their appetizer immediately.right after they sat down. I complained. They said the crab dip would be on them. It came with two small pieces of pita. Not enough. So I asked for more pita. I received one thin piece. Then the entrees came. My spinach pie was awful. Thick crust not phyllo . Hardly any filling. Grilled shrimp 4 small pieces were COLD and overly salty and seasoned. Awful! I b didn’t say anything. But when the bill came., I was charged $5 for the pita. I was not told I would be charged for that! Waitress didn’t care. I paid the bill. Got home called the manager. Andy. He wouldn’t let me talk. Screaming at me. His computer system failed etc. wouldn’t discuss the charge for the pita. Bad night. I’m putting in a dispute with my credit card company. I’ll never go back. Insult upon injury. My credit card company actually gave me the Five dollars back. Not the merchant. Go to zorbas , the black olive or google for better choices.

  The food is great and worth every penny. However, not everyone is a doctor, lawyer or business executive. Unhappy about the bar prices in particular (it was) $11 for a single (measured) 1oz shot of rail whiskey and soda. Not worth visiting here as a local if you can’t have two decent drinks for under $44. Unaffordable and somewhat absurd and greedy. Ezra and Eden are good and very nice.

  This place is very consistent with excellent interesting food and great service. The desserts are great too!

  Loved Cypriana, will be back! It came highly recommended and I see why. We got the octopus medium plate (pictured), chefs hummus (hummus with eggplant and tomato), meatballs, and lemon potatoes. We liked all of it and took home leftovers. There’s lots of options for prices and meal sizes so great for $20 meal or a $100.
