  Lovely restaurant in Little Italy. Staff was exceptional. Food was delicious and authentic. Pasta was done correctly. Definitely give the desserts a try. Small space, but not cramped. Great location for dinner before a concert at Pier Six.

  We’ve had the absolute pleasure of eating at Gia’s many, many times over the years. It’s become part of our family’s Christmas Eve tradition, along with countless birthdays, special occasions, and plenty of “just because” trips. Maybe I’m a little biased because our daughter even spoke her first word there. It wasn’t “Mom.” It wasn’t “Dad.” It was “gelato.” That should tell you how much time our family has spent there! Gia’s will always be a must-visit for us, especially whenever we have family or friends visiting from out of town. The food is always fresh, delicious and you can taste the love and history in every dish. Personally I always get grilled octopus for an appetizer and usually a gnocchi dish, however we’ve tried everything from lobster to ossobucco and everything in between. We’ve never had a single complaint and truthfully it’s one of the few places I know our children will finish there entire dish.. We love everything about this place and, even more importantly, the people who make it what it is. From the cooks and hosts to the servers and bussers, every single person we’ve encountered has been nothing short of fantastic, friendly, and attentive. Thank you for all of the amazing meals and memories and here’s to many more

  Our family absolutely loves Cafe Gia. We choose to come here every year on Christmas Eve and for any special occasion. We especially love bringing family from out of town to try their amazing food. Everything on the menu is delicious and beautifully plated. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, delicious food. Can’t beat it!!

  My mom and I had the most wonderful dinner here. We wanted something within walking distance from our hotel and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was wonderful. We got there early and had the place all to ourselves. We both ordered the nightly special of salmon over mushroom risotto with grilled caesar salad. So delicious. Topped it off with dessert, tiramisu and the best pistachio cannoli I have ever had.

  Café Gia Ristorante was an amazing find at the entrance to Baltimore’s Little Italy! We were in town from NJ looking for a an authentic Sicilian traditional Italian dinner, and we definitely found it. The area felt very safe, which was important to us since we planned to walk to the café. From the charming exterior to the beautiful artwork inside, every detail added to the experience. And then there’s Gia herself—her warmth and personality are truly part of what makes this local spot so special. The food exceeded our expectations, and the entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a little local charm, Cafe Gia Ristorante is absolutely worth a visit!
