- JPJeff PhilipsMay 6, 20265.0Very friendly staff. Someone actually asked me if I needed help while I was walking in the aisle. I wasn't unable to find what I wanted and they were very helpful to me. This is the first time I have experienced this type of service in a grocery store.
- NNNJApr 27, 20262.0One thing I will say about this Safeway is , the space is very clean and very well put together. My problem isn’t the store but the workers by the self check out, typically the one older white dude who stands there with the black hat and black face mask on. Every time I come into this place and I’m ready to check out he stands there watching over your back like a hawk. Moreover, I’ve never seen him do it to white people, but whenever it’s a black or Latin person he does and it’s rude and disheartening. I didn’t notice it at first , but after my first two times coming here, I started looking at him to see where he was and he would start out pretending he was fixing the things by the register and then he would be right behind you like a weirdo watching you scan . I mean put a sign up that says “ We watch Black and Latino people while Shopping instead” because that’s exactly what he does! Today I wanted to curse him Out but didn’t want to make a scene ! Next time I’m going to record him And put him on social media to see if he likes it !
