- KTKatharine TateOct 9, 20261.0I ordered a bowl of Brunswick Stew for takeout and when the piece of cornbread that usually comes with stew wasn’t included, I was informed that the restaurant is unable to keep up with demand and that complimentary cornbread is only provided to customers dining inside the restaurant. Takeout customers may purchase a piece of cornbread with the stew.

The staff was so friendly, I loved the feel of the restaurant, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious but I have to highlight the burnt ends and the fried catfish, they were some of the best I've ever had! The portions of everything were generous and the menu had plenty of depth, it made us want to go back again. As a completely separate bonus note, this whole restaurant is fully wind-powered, so you can feel good about sustainable dining while eating here!

This place did not disappoint. After checking out the menu, I knew I couldn't leave without trying something. I ordered the Catfish Fingers and, my goodness, they were absolutely perfect. On top of the great food, the music history decor is incredible—there are tons of awesome photo opportunities here. Definitely a happy accident!

Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic… but those ribs…. Oh my god… they fell off the bone! 1/3 of a rack was not enough. Next time we’re both getting full ones😂
