  O’Brien’s Oyster Bar & Seafood Tavern is my favorite happy hour food spot. The tuna nachos are absolutely outstanding. Each one has a perfectly seared slice of tuna on its own perfectly crispy nacho, topped with just the right mix of wasabi, soy sauce, and garnish. They are fresh, flavorful, and the kind of thing you keep thinking about after you leave. Great happy hour spots are easy to like, but this is one I genuinely look forward to. The food is consistently enjoyable, the atmosphere is welcoming, and those tuna nachos alone are worth the visit. Highly recommend O’Brien’s if you are looking for a great restaurant in DTA (downtown Annapolis), especially for the happy hour food.

  Was there for the first time and the waitress could care less, fish and chips were recommended, the worst (oily and strange looking pieces) I would not recommend this place. The bar area may have been better?

  We were seated in the quiet room which was not. Already disappointed and our waitress Sam knew, without asking, she got approval from the manager to move us to the top floor dining area - all to ourselves. Rockfish and sea bass entrees were delicious. Sam was an attentive and friendly server. Her recommendations were spot on.
