We had a great first experience! For starters, we had the whipped ricotta meatballs and they were delicious. For our main dishes, we had the sea bass with the lobster risotto (which was a hit!) and the roasted lamp chops (also good!). The portion sizes were great, to include the pass around items. Recommend the signature hot chocolate lava cake for dessert. The atmosphere was pleasant and our server, Micah, was amazing! Thanks Micah for your outstanding customer service, which made our experience even better! Also, a couple of people on the management team checked in to see how things were going so that was a plus! It was nice to see and be on the water while dining. I highly recommend this place. The price was worth it in our opinion!
We had a great time. We went on a Sunday w/o a rsvp and still got a nice booth by the bar and an excellent view of the water. Our waitress showed up quickly and was very attentive. She nailed our orders & even had cocktail ideas to match our personal liking. We had the prime rib steak, the seafood linguine, lobster risotto and grilled shrimp and the Ceasar salad. Everything was really good except the risotto, it was a little underseasoned and overcooked. Still had plenty of lobster. The steak was extremely tender and a nice cut. The crouton for the sald is actually the bowl itself. Nice esthetic. The grill shrimp were large and fresh. Grill to perfection with a butter sauce. The pasta was a nice portion and well prepared. Plenty of seafood as well. This was a 4.9 ☆ so let's just say 5☆. We're excited to take the hour long drive to return.

I had an amazing experience at Chart House! From the moment we arrived, I had been here several times but this time was different Tia, the manager, and Coby, our waitress, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Even though it was busy, Tia accommodated us by finding and even creating a table for our party.
Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for her guests truly stood out. Customer service like hers is hard to find these days, and she made our entire dining experience memorable. The food was great, but Tia’s exceptional hospitality is what will keep us coming back.
Tamara, Coby, and our table waiter, Ayden, were all amazing. They made us feel truly seen and valued, and the service from start to finish was outstanding.
OK Thank you, Tia, for making our night so special. Chart House is lucky to have you and such an incredible team. We’ll definitely be back!

This would be a great Red Lobster! Unfortunately, it is an expensive restaurant in an iconic location. It started from the start, although we had reservations, we had to wait 20 minutes. That probably was just to condition us to wait at every step of the meal as the service was very slow.
First the good: Server recommended a great cocktail that lived up to his recommendation. The sides were a very good compliment to the meal.
I think this is a good restaurant, but a TERRIBLE value. I love to eat out and I can enjoy McD's as much as Ruth Chris, but they have to live up to what they are trying to be.
At this price point, the server should be able to provide wine recommendations. Our server didn't even know what wines were out.
The most disappointing part was the entrees which seemed freshly loaded off the Sysco truck right after their delivery to Applebee's. I requested my fresh halibut sauteed and medium rare. I got pan fired medium well without a hint of culinary flair - 10 out of 10 on the bland scale.
Our server was pleasant and tried to be helpful. He suggested ordering the desert early because it took 20 minutes to prepare. We accepted his recommendation and still had to wait after we were done with the entree. It was okay: dry chocolate cake with ice cream on top.
Sadly I think they are living on their reputation and nostalgia, recommend looking elsewhere for a great culinary experience consistent with a high end price.

Disappointing 10th Anniversary Experience at Chart House Prime, Annapolis, MD
My wife and I chose Chart House Prime to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, expecting a memorable evening at a restaurant known for its waterfront views and strong reputation. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.
When making our reservation through OpenTable on June 7, I noted that we were celebrating our anniversary. I had also ordered a custom cake from a local bakery and attempted to contact the restaurant for three consecutive days to ask about their policy on outside desserts. Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to reach anyone by phone.
On the evening of June 20, we arrived and found no valet attendant, despite valet service being advertised. Fortunately, we were able to find parking nearby. At check-in, the hostess acknowledged our anniversary and wished us well, which we appreciated.
Although we had reserved our table two weeks in advance, we waited nearly 20 minutes to be seated, even though the restaurant did not appear particularly busy. While waiting, we enjoyed drinks at the bar and assumed the delay was temporary.
Unfortunately, the most disappointing part of the evening came after we were seated. We reviewed the menu, closed it, and waited to place our order. No one approached our table. We were not greeted by a server, offered water, or even acknowledged by any member of the staff. After sitting unattended for approximately 16 minutes (table #40), it became clear that we had been completely overlooked.
At that point, my wife located a manager and explained the situation, including both the delay in seating and the complete lack of service at our table. Given the circumstances, we decided to leave.
For a restaurant where dinner for two can easily cost several hundred dollars, we expected a much higher standard of hospitality and attentiveness. Basic service—greeting guests, offering water, and acknowledging their presence—should not be optional, especially when guests are celebrating a special occasion.
Instead of spending our anniversary dinner at Chart House Prime, we chose to dine elsewhere and ultimately enjoyed our evening at another restaurant.
While I understand that mistakes can happen, the combination of poor communication, delays, and being entirely ignored at our table made this experience extremely disappointing. Based on this visit, I would hesitate to recommend Chart House Prime for anyone planning an important celebration or special event.
