  Was at Stop and Shop last Sunday night just before closing, went to the self checkout and scanned all my items ran out of room on my side where you put your items and placed my dozen eggs and 2 bottles of Organic Coconut Milk on the other side of the register. Needless to say I forgot to put the eggs and milk in my bags . When I got home I realized what I had done. So on Monday morning I went back to the store and told the person at the customer service desk what I had done she told me that they log in return items and there was no returned items in the log book. Very rude lady made it look like I was trying to get something for nothing and didn’t want to help me out in any way. Showed her my receipt and she just blew me off. My wife has diabetes and uses that milk constantly. So I just went and repurchased the items. I have been using Stop and Shop for over 40 years until now. I have never had a problem with the store and really enjoyed shopping there because I knew where everything was in the store. That woman treated me like I was trying to get something for nothing when all I was trying to do was get the items back that I already paid for. Somebody had to put the items back last night after closing. Needless to say I will never shop there again after over 40 years. I was talking to my nephew and he said that everything is on camera and you’ll notice what I left behind

  Me and my boyfriend shop here regularly and the one time I didn’t shop with him was today. Usually I have no problems here and most of the staff is friendly. Today wasn’t one of them, I noticed that the English muffins were buy one get two free so I bought two regulars and one cinnamon raisin. When I checked out, I didn’t notice the sale didn’t go through, so I went to customer service to ask for my money back for the sale. The lady at the counter was very rude walked me to the bread aisle that I didn’t get it from told her multiple times I didn’t get it from there. She rudely Sighed and walked me to the aisle I got it from to. She touched the cinnamon raisin English Muffins, Then walked me back to the same aisle we were in and saw it was get two free buy one and then proceeded to tell me that the cinnamon raisin wasn’t on sale with it. She proceeded to tell me that she would give it to me anyways rudely when I was walking away to go in my car she told the next customer that “she wanted to go home that she was done with today”. Also no have a great day or anything. Pretty sure her name is Mirna that’s what the receipt says.

  Atrocious customer service. I waited over 45 minutes for a staff member to empty the bin so the machine could be used again. This was after I informed multiple employees of the problem; nearly a dozen employees just walked by, knowing full well that the glass/plastic machine needed to emptied. This is unacceptable for any business and in this case, it's evidence of a highly dysfunctional business. (I was told that only one employee knew how to empty the machine; even I know how to empty bottle return machines!) Eventually gave up and went to a different location to return my bottles and cans.

  Closest store to me and I love it. They even had turtle wax for my car. Love this place.

  I just got finished with my online pickup order and let me tell you I was very impressed. The whole process was smooth start to finish and extremely convenient. Checking in was crazy easy too because when I parked in the pickup parking spot I was already checked in and I didn't even have to wait five minutes before a store associate came to my car to help me load my groceries in. I wish I caught the associate's name because he was super friendly and kind and made everything very convenient for me. Plus, he arrived to my car promptly and was very professional. I would definitely use this service again from this particular Stop and Shop. Definitely worth it.
