  Bought a large broccoli and cheese quiche which stated on the package that it was cooked and needed to be heated for about 35 min at 350. Kept it in longer because the bottom crust was clearly raw dough. Finally took it out after 45 minutes and not only was the bottom crust still raw but the filling was also mush like mashed potatoes. Not cooked. Warning, this quiche was nicely browned on top when I bought it. It clearly looked cooked. So I'm not going to travel back to get a refund of my $11.99. It's in the trash. You've been warned.

  A great example of why we need to stop supporting corporate conglomerate supermarkets. Constantly raising prices based on their stock price, fixing their corporate mistakes with our consumer ignorance. Stores like Wegmans, Hannaford, Price Chopper, Aldis, Market Basket... all of these competitors are living proof that privately-owned groceries can be given to you at a reasonable value (and aren't filled with other highly processed corporate foods, but more local ones). Shaws is designed to rip you off and serve you food that is not good for you -- from the bottom up. Any complaints are sent to a robot AI agent, and then to call center in the Phillipines. They don't care. It's not that hard to care. EDIT: Wow! It looks like they even have a robot to write replies to my Google Review. Either that, or they hired the quickest typewriter in New England to focus on Google Reviews and saw my review just in time to reply immediately upon my post! I'm going to assume it's AI. That just proves more that Shaws does not and will not care about their consumers. Please support the other supermarkets I have mentioned. They offer superior value and healthier food.

  I went for Garlic bread at 5:30 pm and there was nothing left as well as other fresh baked breads I asked the gentleman behind the counter do you have any garlic bread left he said what ever we have on the floor???? Hense do you have any garlic bread he doesn’t even know whats Available on the floor. He could have offered to take a fresh bread that he had and put a garlic spread on it. And repackaged it as garlic bread like they have done for me in the past. Shaws is going down hill as far as customers satisfaction. Instead no one cares. This not my wife it’s the husband who sent the review. I should of gotten a free one the next time I go for not having any so early in the evening.

  The inside of the store is nicely organized and clean. However when I was here, a lot of the items in some of the aisles were not in stock. Surprisingly, their Pokemon card vending machine still had items in stock which is a good thing.

  They have signs at the entrance advertising price cuts on many items, but unfortunately, the quality of the produce I found was very disappointing. I went to buy some produce, including Romaine hearts. The package was small and looked old, yet it was priced at $4.99. The bananas were extremely green—I honestly don’t think they would turn yellow and be ready to eat for another week. And it wasn’t just these items; I noticed similar problems with other produce as well. Lower prices are appreciated, but customers should still be getting fresh, good-quality products. Advertising price cuts while selling produce that is old, small, or not reasonably ready to eat is frustrating.
