The chicken wings were undercooked to the point they were not safe to eat, and the hot dog was so unprofessionally packed and the bun was all soggy as a result. Gross gross gross, never eating here again.

Food was average ill say about McDonald's level cashier was friendly and we did not have to repeat our order like some McDonald's that English is not their 1st language. Dinning area if on the smaller side. Would I return doubtful at most. Fries where horrible rest of food was good. 2 meals came to 25 and change.

  > ★☆☆☆☆ I genuinely don’t understand the hype around this place. There was nothing impressive about the burgers. Mine seemed undercooked to me and was still pink inside, which made eating it uncomfortable and really ruined the meal. The fries were the only satisfying part, and even those didn’t stand out—they were simply decent fries. On my way out, I politely asked for a refill and was told there are no free refills. That’s fine; it’s their policy, and the staff were polite about explaining it. But what surprised me was that they didn’t even offer to sell me another drink. I was perfectly willing to pay for one. This location is being promoted as New England’s first Checkers-branded restaurant, and after trying it, I’m left wondering: this is what all the excitement was about? Worcester has been through enormous changes in recent years, including development and gentrification that have affected the people who actually live here. After all of that, is bringing in another out-of-state fast-food chain really supposed to impress the community? Checkers originated in the South and is headquartered in Florida. Maybe the concept works elsewhere, but based on my experience, it brought nothing to Worcester that made me want it here. I would much rather see Worcester invest its excitement, space, and attention in restaurants and businesses that actually contribute something memorable to the community. New England’s first Checkers? Based on this meal, I wouldn’t mind if it were the last.
