  This review is strictly for a single meat department staff. I was picking out a pack of ground beef just now. As I was walking away there was a guy with a black t shirt or polo shirt walking over to sort out the ground beef. I heard him swearing and bitching about how customers never put the ground beef back stacking on top of each other. He was using tons of profanity and wasn't trying to be discreet about it either. This guy needs to understand that the reason he still has a job is because customers buy their products. He also needs to know that part of his job is to sort out the meats when they are in disarray, not bitching about it. The reason why I did not say anything back because I was not the one to mess them up and I will not scoop low to his level to argue with him. I hope this review reached the manager or the meat department manager. This incident happens today 7/11 at about 12:40pm at the 80/20 ground beef section. Everyone else in all the other departments at Shaw's are great. This guy does not care nor want to do his job, he just wants to get paid while doing nothing. I honestly do not understand how and why Shaw's would hire a person with his personality to work with the general public. Let's see what happens when customers stopped buying meat from the meat department because they hired someone foul like him.

  I left Shaw’s today extremely disappointed. I brought my daughter because the Pokémon vending machine is one of the few places where families can still buy Pokémon products at MSRP instead of paying inflated reseller prices. What we found was the exact opposite of a fair experience. A young boy, approximately 12–13 years old, along with his mother and sister, were standing around the vending machine with two grocery bags full of Pokémon booster boxes. The machine clearly displays a “No Loitering” notice, yet they remained gathered around it while employees walked by without saying a single word or addressing the situation. Whether someone is buying one item or many, the area around the machine should be kept clear so every customer has an equal opportunity to access it. When the posted rules on the machine are ignored, it creates an environment that feels unfair and discourages families and collectors from shopping there. If Shaw’s is going to host these vending machines, management should ensure the area is monitored and that the posted guidelines are respected. Otherwise, the shopping experience suffers, customers lose confidence in the process, and it raises serious questions about whether these machines belong in stores where the rules surrounding them are not being enforced.

  Good selection of food. Ordered a birthday cake and it was delicious. Friendly staff.
