  I picked up takeout from Mawa House today, but unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment and failed to live up to basic expectations for authentic street food. Here is a detailed breakdown of what we ordered: Pani Puri: Extremely disappointing. The flavored water (pani) was practically tasteless, lacking the essential spicy and tangy kick you expect. Worse, the water had an off-putting smell, and both the puris and the pani tasted stale. Sev Puri: The Puri stuffing did not taste fresh, and there were barely any chutneys included, making the overall dish flat and stale. Aloo Tikki Chaat: Like the Sev Puri, this felt dry and completely lacked flavor. The chutneys were provided in tiny quantities—nowhere near enough for a takeout portion—and the tikki itself tasted like it had been sitting around for too long. Chicken Kathi Roll: This was the only decent item out of everything we tried. It was definitely better than the chaats, though still average and below expectations. Overall, the lack of fresh ingredients and stingy portions of chutney really ruined the meal. Given the poor quality of the chaat items, I won't be returning anytime soon.

  Five stars star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ for food, one star ⭐️ for ordering. Food is fantastic. Reasonable price. Hard to order… I called to order a cake, and they asked me to hang up and text. So I did, and received AI chatbot replies, which broke, so I called again and they asked me to hang up again after they “reset the AI”, took about 20 minutes to order a cake start to finish… ugh. Was worth it though!

  We ordered a cake for our lil one’s birthday and it was made to perfection. The cake was beautiful and the team gave us clear inputs on how to choose. Overall the experience was awesome with Mawa house. The cake tasted delicious!!

  Food is not bad, priced reasonable but the quantities are equally less. The problem is customer service which is very slow and the counter is unattended and I had to wait for more than 15 minutes for pastries take out samosa chaat.
