    This was one of the worst Subway experiences I have had. The bread was not fresh, my order was missing spinach, and the portions were not prepared according to my request. I ordered a toasted meatball sandwich, but it was not properly toasted, and the meatball tasted terrible. The sandwich did not meet the regular Subway standard at all. On top of that, the staff had a very poor attitude and seemed careless about both the food and the customer experience. This location seriously needs to retrain its employees and improve its quality control. I would not come back to this Subway.

    I was sure to call customer service and let them know how terrible this location is. I ordered an oven, roasted chicken sandwich and stepped aside because the person who is putting together the sandwich was helping multiple customers at once. When he pulled the sandwich out of the oven it had turkey on it instead of chicken. I told him I was sorry, but I had ordered chicken. He insisted that I had ordered turkey. I told him that it is possible that I misspoke, but I really don’t like turkey and I wanted chicken. He proceeded to put chicken on the sandwich and then showed me the sandwich and asked me no less than three times if I was sure that that’s what I wanted. By the third time I was about to not answer. This was getting incredibly rude over what three pieces of turkey wasted ? Customerservice like that… You lose maybe a dollar and a lot of customers. It is not worth it to you. Then, thinking we were done with this nastiness, his colleague continued to make my sandwich, but he rang it up. He did not ring it up properly, I was charged for a different sandwich, and he asked “so you’re not also going to pay for the turkey.?” At that point, I just sat in front of the other customers that I was getting pretty annoyed because he was being very rude. I told him I wanted a copy of the receipt. I made sure to report how rude he was and I would recommend that unless that person is retrained or replaced that I will never be back. Happy to take my business elsewhere. Truly a shockingly bad level of customer service. Also, noticed that the phone number that says “if it’s not right, I’ll make it right” doesn’t have enough digits. There’s no way to call and give the feedback.

    Complaint About Customer Service – Watertown Location Hello, I would like to report an unpleasant experience I had on May 2, 2026, at around 8:35 PM at your location: 59 Mt Auburn St Watertown, MA 02472 United States I entered the store to place an order, knowing that the store closes at 9:00 PM. There were still about 25 minutes before closing. When I walked in, an employee came out, looked at the clock, and displayed a very rude attitude. Although they eventually agreed to make my sandwich, it was clear that they were unwilling and unhappy to serve me. This kind of behavior does not reflect the standards expected from a brand like Subway. It made me feel very uncomfortable. Additionally, I politely asked if I could eat inside, as there were still about 20 minutes before closing. I was alone and only had one sandwich. However, my request was refused in a harsh manner. After I left the store, the employee immediately locked the door behind me, even though there were still approximately 15 minutes until closing time. This experience was very disappointing and uncomfortable. I hope appropriate action will be taken. The employee working at that time should be warned or properly addressed. Thank you for your attention.
