  Went to the stop n shop to grab fried chicken. Got an eight piece dark meat. Had two overcooked breasts and everything else was so overcooked and dry I wouldn’t even share it with my coworkers. I went at noon time so I thought it would be fresh. Terrible experience. First ever review on anything. Just can’t see anyone wasting there money

  I live in the walking distance to this Stop and Shop. I usually dread going to this store. This Friday, I needed to make a run, and I have completely forgot why I had this sense of dread for DECADES. In this age of communication, the store managers really don't want you to communicate. I could be walking by oysters and think, "Hey, let me ask my wife if she wants any oysters" Yeah, good luck with that. Call the kids because there is a sale on the ice cream they like, forget about it. Clarify the flavor, amount of an item from my list; leave EVERYTHING you have gathered and go outside, because there is NO reception. This brings me back to my days when I worked at a Star Market as a kid. The management made it as a matter of fact, we block cell signal so that YOU the teenage employee won't be sitting on your phone. Customers? What about them? So thanks Stop and Shop. I had my fill of dread for another decade. Just become irrelevant already, so someone who understands the need of communication in the age of communication takes over

  Constantly out of stock of like…basic stuff especially in the produce section. Doesn’t seem to matter what time I go
