  Customer service after waiting in line and they just keep talking to ppl who r some already and she should be helping me then takes15 min to give me refund for price accuracy guarantee and then tried to charge me part of it the law in mass is if rings up wrong or marked wrong u get for free this only supermarket I've even seen that has no signs even paying price accuracy guarantee at customer service and registers I worked for a supermarket as front end supervisor and customer service deal and every employee should definitely know this law and how to fix the mistake for the item so it didn't keep happening

  The store was clean, and produce was well arranged because I found everything I was looking for (avocado, tomatoes, kale, floss). The staff are patient work with the customer regarding nagging and price clarification.

  I had a very unpleasant experience at this Star Market location in Waltham. On April 14, 2026, at approximately 12:15 PM, I was in the front section of the store where seasonal items are displayed (including toy cars, holiday merchandise, and seasonal candy near the checkout such as Easter and summer products). In this area, I encountered very rude and unprofessional behavior from a staff member. A woman with long dark hair wearing a blazer spoke to customers in an irritated and raised tone and repeatedly made comments such as “buy first, then open,” even though no one was opening any products and everything was properly sealed. Her behavior felt unnecessarily rude, especially toward shoppers with children. She also appeared annoyed by customers simply browsing the merchandise and created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. I have been shopping at this Star Market location for about seven years, and I have never experienced such rude and openly dismissive behavior toward customers before. It sometimes feels like some employees believe customers are unable to make simple decisions without their constant comments or corrections. Instead of assisting, they often walk around in a way that feels more disruptive than helpful, almost as if they are trying to demonstrate superiority over shoppers. I understand that working in customer service can be difficult at times, but this does not justify taking out personal frustration on customers. Overall, this created an unfriendly and stressful environment in the store. I have also heard similar feedback from others regarding customer service at this location. Because of this experience, I would be cautious about visiting this store with small children, as the environment did not feel welcoming or customer-friendly. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves customer service standards.
