  No complaints other than the lady working express check out berating a man for buying halloween candy. Claiming it’s the “devil” and he’ll learn soon. Very immature to bring your personal beliefs and issues into the workplace and shocking to see at that age. And honestly extremely odd cause I assume she was doing this to get him to put the candy back and lose a sale???

  They should just close this place and bring in a Market Basket or Shaw’s. What a complete waste of space. This grocery store is practically useless you can never count on finding everything you need, and half the time, you end up leaving without something on your shopping list. Such a useless place..

  Went in on the evening of 9/11 around 7pm to get a couple party of 2 strawberry topped cheesecake and some other items. When I got to the bakery I noticed that all of the packaged cheesecakes I wanted were incorrectly priced for 7” cheescakes at $17.99. I was able to get the attention of the bakery worker Elann and explain the situation. Elann was attentive and polite and tried to correct the error a few times. Even after I told him never mind as I knew they’d be closing soon and I didn’t want to take him away from his duties, he insisted which was much appreciated (real customer service thats hard to come by). When he was unable to do so, he was apologetic and informed me he wasn’t able to on his end but would need to get a manager to try and that it could take a few minutes. It didn’t take long for someone to come, although I don’t believe they were a manager (at least I hope not). The young individual was wearing a black top and I believe his name was Jeremy. He came to the bakery, didn’t even acknowledge myself or my husband or the situation. He walked directly to the back of the bakery, was there a few minutes, walked out and went on to have a conversation with another young man and woman who were in the bakery area and appeared to be shopping. Initially I thought he had mistaken them as the customers who needed the assistance. It wasn’t until Elann came back out to explain that Jeremy was going to go try to get the price adjusted I realized that Jeremy was deliberately acting this way. He had 0 urgency and it was as if he went out of his way to avoid engaging with us. He didn’t even offer a quick solution to get us on our way while he worked to fix the error for future customers, literally nothing. I was patient up until Jeremy pulled that stunt and had to leave without grabbing my other items.
