I tried to contact the store via the chat feature to avoid a review - but was not able to post the entirety of my interactions at this location due to a 255 character limit. I will see if anyone reaches out to me. This location has been struggling for years, but being the closest to my home I usually go here. Today was no exception. We walked in around 4:45 (if we show up too late in the day they're always out of things so we came earlier than usual to avoid the issue). There was one kid working - very young, probably high school aged. This is the theme here at this location. One worker. Alone. Always. Every other location usually has at least 2 to 3 at any given time. And I do want to note that I don't blame the worker. These kids (they turn them over quick) are always alone and seem to lack training. They really don't know any better, or that they should not be alone. Major safety issue. Aside from all that, let's talk about today. We ordered three sandwiches. One being a footlong flatbread. The worker put one scoop of chicken dead center. A footlong is usually 2 scoops spread the length of the sandwich, just like a normal footlong. Then we asked for chipotle sauce. The bottle was empty and he tried banging it on the counter to get some out. I assume he did not want to leave the line to get a new one as he was alone and there was someone waiting in line behind us to order. He then toasted it, we asked for a couple toppings, and that was that. We would typically get sauce before and after toasting - but what's the point? He then proceeded to wrap this thing up like it was a wrap or burrito? I don't know. What I do know is we paid the price for footlongs and recieved half the amount of food we should have. I asked my fiance if he wanted me to say something - but honestly, we felt bad for the kid. Clearly not trained. Left to 'figure it out'. As someone who has an extensive background in food (at a GM / multi unit level) - to see this time and time again is just sad. Whoever the franchisee is - I hope you see this. And I hope you care enough about not just your business, but your workers. And act on it. No child should be left working alone day after day. What if they need to use the restroom? What if they get hurt? Major liability quite frankly. Again, I don't blame the worker. He was polite enough. Just didn't know what he was doing, and had no one to ask. I will be going to other locations moving forward. The lack of care of this location and it's staff from the owner says all I need to know about the care they put in to the business. And if you have a manager - they should take the time to train the team better before leaving them alone on a Saturday night.

I’m not usually one to leave a bad review but this needs to be said. I stopped into this Subway on my way home from work to grab my husband and I some sandwiches for dinner. The young lady that was working Friday night (3/6/26) around 7pm made the absolute worst sandwich I have ever had from a Subway. Not only did she rush me and not listen to what I wanted on my sandwich. she was extremely rude as if I was bothering her by stopping in. Sorry I guess going in an hour before they close is a problem for her. Finally I get home and when we opened our sandwiches they are a complete disaster. They were the sloppiest, messiest sandwiches, had pickles on them (and it wasn’t just a few. Know this cause we had to pull them off) which I didn’t ask for,I wanted banana peppers(but we didn’t get them) I guess she makes the sandwiches as she sees fit and to her liking. The bread was completely butchered. Needless to say a waste of money we threw them out and ordered a pizza. Maybe this employee is new and doesn’t understand the process of Subway and if that’s the case then shame on the management team for not training employees properly. If that’s not the case then again shame on management for allowing employees to serve guest like this. I will not go back to this Subway. If you want to stay in Swansea take the 5 minute drive to the Subway across the street from walmart. I have never had an issue there and my sandwiches are always made with a smile and the exact way I ordered it.

Bread didn’t seem fresh. I was in need of subway for like 3 days. Finally got there and this sandwich that I ordered online was underwhelming. Very old bread dry meat bacon was not tasteful. Won’t go back to subway for a while unfortunately
