ore a love story is a breathtaking caribbean sanctuary right here in stoughton. i can't believe how close we live to this place and it's only our first time ever. we visited to celebrate mother's day and choosing this was by far the greatest decision i could have made. the restaurant was jam packed this special holiday and we patiently awaited our table for forty minutes. but that can only mean that the food had to be bomb diggity but MY GOODNESS was it worth every single second of that wait. we ordered some truly spectacular dishes from their special menu. we got the salmon omelet filled with fresh spinach and accompanied by sweet plantains and a side of coco bread. the flavor profile of her omelet was an absolute mind blowing triumph. i do not even enjoy coconut but the impossibly soft and beautifully buttery texture of that coco bread made it an unforgettable standout. my father had portuguese french toast that looked simply divine. for my own meal i ordered the djon djon with salmon. every element of this dish was a masterpiece. the salmon was cooked to absolute perfection. i held exceptionally high expectations for the plantains and i was completely blown away by their heavenly sweetness. they harmonized flawlessly with the majestic djon djon rice and the savory salmon. i also tried their special crémas iced coffee. and once again i was deeply impressed. it features a delicious alcoholic kick of rum beautifully intertwined with an aromatic nutmeg and a lush caramel glaze. every single bite of our food was undeniably delicious and our palates missed absolutely nothing. while the monumental holiday rush meant the busy staff occasionally struggled to retain every little detail we were still graced by the genuine warmth and effort of a couple of truly wonderful servers. the phenomenal cuisine alone transforms this place into a legendary culinary destination. five stars. and yes, i will return again even if it means waiting 2 hours in line.

Came here after church to try something new. There no sign on the front of the building but will keep this gem a secret. This place was delicious! It was empty inside with only a few family’s but don’t let that stir you away. As we were leaving few more groups of people showed up. They must get more people after 10am. I got the Portuguese sweet bread French toast and a side of bacon. It’s thick and crispy. The bacon was thick but cooked perfectly! There are 100s of dinner and breakfast places around and everyone uses plain white bread. My wife go the waffle and jerk chicken. Which I also got to enjoy. The chicken was delicious. Since I was limited to what she offered I will get that next time. The music inside is for a 45 and young crowd. So if you’re not ready to break out a move take out will be your option. You can pay cash or card. Waitress was very nice and discreet as we were drooling over the menu. Will be back.

Brunch was good. I seen all different types and ages of people eating in this restaurant which speaks volumes. Wait wasn't too long but I did place an order to go and didn't receive what I ordered. The play I did order was pretty expensive so I'm pretty bummed about that but that's my fault for not checking before I left.
