  Horrible Management & Complete Disrespect for Customers' Time I am officially done with the Boston Road Stop & Shop. I work at 7:30 AM and rely on their advertised 7:00 AM opening time to grab my lunch, but their unreliability has become completely unacceptable. Today was the absolute last straw. At 7:11 AM, the bakery-side doors were still locked. A group of 5 of us were standing outside waiting until everyone else finally gave up and left. Because the main doors weren't unlocked, I had to walk all the way to the far end of the store just to get inside. I am recovering from a severe car accident with a back injury, so having to walk back and forth across the entire building—first to the deli, then all the way back to self-checkout because not a single cashier was working—was excruciating and entirely avoidable. When I finally got inside, there were FIVE EMPLOYEES just standing around doing absolutely nothing. It wasn't until another customer came in demanding to know why the doors were locked that an employee finally went to open them (and she looked completely unfit for her shift). Where is management during store openings? Either nobody is running the floor, or whoever is in charge simply doesn't care. I used to go out of my way to shop at this location, even though there is a Big Y right across the street from my job. Never again. I'll be taking my business to Big Y and other stores from now on. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

  This place constantly only has 1 cashier open, and forces people to use self checkout. Not efficient and there's always long lines. Go to Big y instead.

  Nothing against other competitors. I feel comfortable walking into Stop& Shop. It's clean. The people are very nice including the people at the pharmacy. The shelf are stocked. I feel very comfortable buying from the produce department. It looks so fresh. As soon as you walk in the door, it's such a good impression. They have little tables and chairs off to the left to grab a bite to eat. And sit down. The ready food is so enticing. Never a problem checking out the self-serve I use all the time if I can. It makes life so much easier. Thank you to the staff and the management for making my experience a very positive one when I walk through the door. Thank you, Stop& Shop
