  Update: 8:15pm - Just got off the phone with the manager on duty because I still have not received the rest of my order, not an email, a notification, NOTHING from this store with any update. I was told at 3:30pmish that I would be getting the rest of my order today. Now, I'm being told the drivers are all gone for the day, that the situation will be looked into tomorrow to see what happened, he didn't know why I wasn't notified, and the standard retail manager apology. I had to call twice. The first time I called, I asked for the delivery department. The woman who answered transferred me. The phone rang and rang and rang. I hung up, called back and asked for a manager and had the above conversation. If the delivery service and drivers are closed or gone for the day, why transfer me in the first place?? I wasted almost 5hrs of my day/night waiting at home for a delivery they had no intention of delivering. The lack of good customer is astounding. I will never shop at a Shaws again. I'll stick with Stop & Shop. Today was my first time using grocery delivery. My order was delivered within the timefame I selected, and my delivery instructions for my building were followed (great!). The stickers left in the bags said there were 8 bags and all stickers had my name on them. Only 6 were delivered, and of the 6 bags only 2 were for my order. The other 4 bags were someone else's order. I called and spoke to a woman who was professional and took down the items I actually received, only about 20% of my order, so they could repick and deliver again. But, I'm now left with no ETA as to when my groceries will arrive. I work in retail, and have alot of experience with picking & packing orders for in store pick, delivery, etc and understand mistakes happen. I'm leaving the review for informational purposes. I will try the delivery service again, to give the benefit of the doubt that this instance was a fluke (rushing due to short staffing, or a new employee training, etc) and not the norm.

  There wasn’t a single associate at customer service for over 15 minutes. Plenty associates go in and come out without helping. Terrible customer service

  I don’t work here but I’m bagging my own groceries because there’s only one person working registers. The other option is I scan and bag myself, which really isn’t worth it absent a discount. Also I tried to tell the cashier about the price issue on some close out beef and he just looked at me and kept scanning like I was speaking a different language. Wasn’t worth the few bucks to do anything further. Shaws has less chaos compared to Market Basket, but it’s starting to feel like it takes more effort regardless. I shouldn’t have to do all the work and watch the receipts like a hawk. The products they sell are great though.
